a MUST READ FOR YOU!

i heard it in a movie: ''Waking Life'' two characters talking to each other, I was impresses by on of the characters words which are quoted below, do read it and take your own meaning out of it:-

"There are two kinds of sufferers: Those who suffer from a lack of life...and those who suffer from an overabundance of life.

I've always found myself in the second category.
When you think of it, almost all human behaviour and activity...is essentially no different from animal behaviour. The most advanced technologies and craftsmanship bring us at best up to the super-chimpanzee level.

Actually, the gap between, say, Plato or Nietzsche(two great men) and the average human...is greater than between that of a chimpanzee and the average human.

The realm of the real spirit...the true artist, the saint, the philosopher, is rarely achieved.

Why so few? Why is world history and evolution not stories of progress?
It is nothing, but an endless and futile[br]addition of zeros? No greater values have developed. Hell, the Greeks 3000 years ago were just as advanced as we are. What are the barriers that keep people from reaching anywhere near their real potential?

The answer to that can be found in another question, and that is:

Which is the most universal human characteristic?
Fear...or laziness?"

I feel laziness is the answer to this question.
'cause with every step u put forward towards your goal, fear steps aside :)

A bit of me and my writings said...

Well, laziness can be taken as an answer for most of the people in the world, but there is no perfect answer or rather say that both the options are spread over humankind and vary from person to person('tis my view) :)

i think fear of faliure dominates ovr laziness..coz evn if sm1 wants to take a step he holds himslf due to fear of faliure..vry few hav the courage to fight it back..
